So, another year at Central has begun. But.. not just another year, the last year. Supposedly, the best year of them all.. we'll see about that. Personally, I doubt anything is going to be too remarkably different, except maybe (just maybe) I might have a boyfriend for some of that (oh my god. it has been forever...). As for my courses, they're pretty good.. I'll give you the low down (or as Jen would say; the down low LOL). Day one first period I have English with the infamous Miss Scott. She started off the first day by assigning us an Essay due at the end of the month. OH JOY! You know it's going to be a crap course, when... Other than that, it seems alright. Apparently she's not writing anything down and is going to be lecturing us all year to get us used to University. Blah. Hm, yes and Jess, Jen L, and Missy are in that class so that's okay. Second period I have Foods & Nutrition. *smirk* Unfortunately, this'll probably be like Media: sounds like a bird course, but a hell of a lot of work. Thank goodness Danielle, and Jess are in there with me. LOL Mrs Lewis started that class of by giving us a sheet with spaces saying different things that you had to find someone in the class to sign like "knows how to cook" and "owns a dishwasher". SO DUMB! I think I did those in grade 7. Geez. Fourth period I have Law with Mr Cox. I knew I would like that course when he announced we weren't going to have an ISP. SWEETNESS!!! I love you, Mr Cox. And finally, fifth period I have World Issues with Mr Rice. That started out horribly with a quiz we had to take on current events. Seeing as I don't pay attention to the news at all, I failed that horribly. The other bad thing about that class is that he doesn't explain things well at all so you sort of have to figure it out for yourself. Jess told me it was an easy mark though, so I'll keep it if I can stand it. Day two starts off with a beautiful first period spare, which allows me to sleep in until 8:45. Mmmm.. This will not be good when I have band though: get up at 6:45, have band till 8:00 then nothing to do for an hour and a half. Hopefully Timmy's will be open. :-@ Second period I have Families in Canadian Societies. I was sick for the first classes of all Day Two classes, so I don't really know what they are like yet. Then Fourth I have Finite *gag* and Fifth I have Writer's Craft (yippie!). Hm, yeah so I have had a cold since I woke up Tuesday morning for the first day. Lovely, eh? All the signs: sore throat, coughing, runny nose, watering eyes, sneezing, tired, feel like death. I sucked it up for Tuesday and Wednesday (picture day), but today got the best of me and I opted to stay home and sleep. It wasn't quite as relaxing as I would've liked seeing as I spent have the afternoon calling Silvercity-folk to take my shift this evening. No one wanted to take it so I called in sick. Krys wasn't too happy because my shift was an opener AND a closer, but then later on she called me back and offered me a shift on next Tuesday so that's good. ~*~*~*~ Oo, and I have boy news, too. (It's been ages, eh?). Jen has a new boytoy; Mike who she's been dating for about a week, and her and Mike are trying to set me up with Mike's best friend Myles (cool name! For awhile I was mistaken and thought it was Milo, like Milo & Otis and Mike got confused when we asked if also had a friend named Otis and started giggling profusely). I don't know too much about Myles except for what Mike has told me briefly. Our attempts to get the four of us together haven't worked out as of yet, so Mike gave me Myles e-mail and I e-mailed him today. I hope he e-mails soon *anxious* :) hehehe. I have the brilliant idea that we can go to the Western Fair on Monday. that would be fun, I can't wait. Anyway, it's 10:15 and I should go to bed because I am still a little under the weather. I'll write more soon. ~ <3 C ~
